National Financial Assistance
Center for Disaster Philanthropy
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy is the only full-time resource dedicated to helping donors maximize their impact through expert resources, community-driven grantmaking and philanthropic consulting services.
As a pandemic, hurricanes, wildfires, floods and human-made crises continue to threaten the lives and livelihoods of billions of people worldwide, CDP responds to critical needs effectively and equitably.
Since 2010, CDP has been helping individuals, foundations and corporations increase the effectiveness of their philanthropic response to disasters and humanitarian crises through strategic planning, grants management, research and analyses, and other technical assistance.
The National Endowment for the Arts
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is the only arts funder in the United States—public or private—that provides access to the arts in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. jurisdictions. Each year, we award thousands of grants to provide everyone in the United States with diverse opportunities for arts participation. The NEA awards cost/share matching grants to nonprofit organizations in a wide variety of arts projects, literature fellowships for published creative writers and translators, and partnership agreements with the 62 state/jurisdictional arts agencies and regional arts organizations.
The NEA provides support throughout the application process as well as examples of previously funded projects. Follow the link above to see grants for arts and design projects, municipalities, research awards, and fellowships.
