SPOTLIGHT: The What’s Good Project

Artist Jennifer Drinkwater’s The What’s Good Project curates creative conversation around asset-based community development in a digital space.

Inspired by the conversations she has with folks around the country, Drinkwater creates original paintings about what’s good in each of their communities. Drinkwater maintains that when we shift our focus from what’s wrong in communities to what’s right, we can affect positive change where we live. A portion of each art sale is donated back to these communities. An accompanying blog serves as a platform for uplifting creative exchange and resource for arts and culture happenings. This project serves as an example of unique ways to celebrate your local community.
